I was doing some research on newspapers when I came across this cool site. It helps you design your very own newspaper or brochures as well as other publications. I have put the link in our inquiry section down the left hand side of the blog. We will have a look at it next week.
Keep thinking of some interesting things that come up. Maybe there might be a big upset on Sunday if Canada beats the All blacks. That would be worth reporting.

Should your parents pay for an IPAD 2?
Orewa College is asking parents to fork out $799 for an IPAD 2 at the beginning of next year. What do you think are the benefits of an IPAD. We have two in our school and I have been asked to discover the ways it can be used effectively in the school as an educational tool. Have your say. Remember to think about it as a tool for student learning rather than a toy. I am not going to let you know what I think at this stage.
